An Enraged Premier.
("Per Press Association. J Mjclbourne, May 1. Premier Turner replies in bitter language to the Argus article which commented unfavourably on his connection as Council i'or the defence in the Greener gun case. Mr Turner said he would sooner throw up the Premiership than sacrifice the interests of his clients who have relied upon him for over ten years. In reply to the charges that he has brought dir-crccit on the colony by his action Mr Turner says the Argus by its leading articles has dragged down the colonj-'s securities until it was nearly ruined.
