London Wool Market.
(Per Press Association.) Lokdon, April 29. Jaeomb and Cot's wool sale comprises 13,905 bales. It was a poor selection. There was a fair attendance of buyers but weak competition, the home traders being the chief buyers, foreigners doing nothing. Much has been withdrawn. Good wools are about par with March sales and inferiors 5 per cent lower. May 1. Wool is still suffering from the effects of the undue depression in the colonial markets last year, and it is feared there will be no improvement till the stocks in hands of direct purchasers are further reduced.
