A London cablegram recievod on Monday by the the N.Z.L. and M.A. Company (Ltd.) gives the following latest London market quotations : — Frozen meats — Mutton market has a downward tendency. Lamb market weak. Canterbury mutton, 3j t d per lb ; Wellington mutton, 2j|-d per lb ; lamb, prime New Zealand, per carcase, 4|d. Tallow — Fine mutton, 24s 6d per cwt ; good beef, 22s per cwt. Butter —Thete is a fair demand for fine qualities ; New Zealand, 78s to 82s per cwt.
| Per Press Association | . London, April 29. Tallow, medium mutton, 22s 6d ; j medium beef, 21s. The English market is advancing to increased firmness ; the Continental are firm, and the American are advancing to increased firmness. An Adelaide cai-go ex Routerburn has been sold for 25s :3d.
