Two Hundred Spanish Soldiers Massacred.
(Per Press Association., New York, April 29. Reports have reached here that a party of two hundred Spanish soldiers were surrounded and massacred by the Cuban insurgents. Entries for Messrs Gorton and Son's Waituna sole are advertised to-day. Messrs Halcombe and Son advertise five acres ©f suburban land for sale. Messrs Abraham and Williams hold a stock sale at Pohangina to-morrow-Entries for Messrs Gorton and Son's sale at Sanson are adyertised to-day. Mr James Wilson, of Makino, advertises for sale a good quiet cow in nearly full profit. Football boots, football boots, fooiball boots. The New Zealand Clotbing Factory have just opened up a good line of boots with buttons on all ready for playiug, they are light and durable and can be used for ordinary wear at the close of the season. We have also opened up a nice selection of other styles of boots in ladies', gents' and children's, including a grand line suitable far dairy purpeses.—Advt,
