Feilding Cycling Club.

A meeting of the above was held at their rooms last evening. Present — Messrs E. Milla (in the chair), S. Andrew, E. H. Fisher, Q. W. Fowles, W. Trevena; W. Gosling; A; k Parr, J. Mingins, J. Gap* per, and Gh Gif kins were elected members of the Club. ; - '■-' Resolved, That the annual general meeting be held on the second "Wednesday in August. ;.. Resolved, That any new members joining in winter months be admitted free of charge until the annual meeting. Resolved, That the Secretary be instructed to request the Cyclists' Union to ask the secretaries of all athletic societies running bicycle races under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists' Union to forward programmes of sports or races to the secretaries of all bicycle clubs affiliated to the Union. It was decided, to close the season on Wednesday, May 15th", with* a road race, to start at 4 p.m., for ft sweepstake of 2s 6d. Entries close on Wednesday, May Bth. On tile same evening as the race a social and dance will fee held and Messrs Rick etts, Feck, Treseder, and Way, were.appointed a committee to make necessary arrangements. It wa9 decided to have a Club run at an early date. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the Chairman.
