(Per Press Association.) Ottawa, April 26. A fire broke out in the Mammoth Tobacco Factory in Montreal, and a panic took place among tlie employes in the building, who numbered upwards of 1000. Iv their mad rush to escape they blocked tho stairway, and fifty of those who were imprisoned by the block jumped from the windows, thus receiving terrible injuries.
