Shocking Fatal Gun Accident.

o (Per Press Association.) Waverley, April 22. A fearful accident happened to a young man named Stewart at Mouaohaki about 11 o'clock yesterday. He went outside with his mother to shoot a hawk, but did not fire at it on account of the hawk being too high. The gun exploded accidentally, blowing away the whole face. The tinfortunate fellow fell down dead beside his mother. He was buried to dav. How the gun exploded cannot be accounted for.
