Paius, April 22. There is an omnibas strike in the city, the men demanding an increase in their pay, and 5000 men are idle. London, April 22. The Times considers the situation in Victoria premises well, though it is a pity Parliament has postponed the modi fication of the tariff. General Booth is to visit Australia and Africa, starting in August. The Rugby footballers are arranging for a national fifteen to visit Australia and possibly New Zealand. The Engineer states that the Imperial Institute has done nothing, and denounces it as an absolute failure. It states that an impartial enquiry into it 6 affairs is urgently demanded, as half a million of money is involved. Constantinople, April 21. The Armenians, with the aid of Russia, are said to be seeking for revenge for the atrotities committed by the Turkish soldiery.
