Second Steeplechase— Highborn 1, Joker 2, Ontario 3. Highborn won easily. Time, 7min 28|sec. Nursery Handicap— St. George 1, Wollomumbi 2, Balance 3. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 18|sec. A.J.C. Plate— Havoc 1, Chesterman % The Harvester 3, A protest was lodged apainst the winner for boring, but it is not yet decided. Time, smin 88sec
