Robert Isancs, formerly teller ot the Georgetown branch of the Bunk of New South Wales, was found not guilty of larceny of £250 of the Bank's money, judge Noel addressing- the prisoner said the jury had brought him in not guilty, but it was the most corrupt verdict ever delivered by a jury in any Court in Queensland.
