The Native Rebellion in India.
(Per Press Association.) Calcutta, April 11. Colonel Kelly and Captaiu Bouadaile, j after an arduous march through snow, ) crossed the Shanhad Pass, and are approaching Chitral. It is believed that Lieuts. Fowler and Edwards were captured through treachery while playing polo. Colonel Kelly in his inarch travelled seven miles in deep snow. j Uinra Khan's fanatic supporters are j said to be dispersing, and the collapse of tbe trouble is probable. The Second Reserve Corps is preparing to proceed to Chitral. Unira Khan has released the Sepoys recentl3' taken prisoners. They state that be is loth to fight tinless his territory is invaded. Lieut. Gnardou, of Kashmir, and several men were killed in the first attack ou Chitral. Lieuts. Fowler aud Edwards, after defending a village between Jlastuj and Cuitral for a week, were induced by assurances of peace being restored to join in a polo match, when they were captured by treachery.
