Stock Market.
Messrs Freeman E. Jackson and Co. report on their Johnsonville sale as follows :— The beef entered for the^day's sale was, with the exception of a few pens of inferior quality, sold. One line of 32 were little better than stores, and very shy. Prices were equal to last sale's rates. Sheep were in fair supply, mainly ewes. The wethers were light, and only half fat. Pigs sold at full rates. Cattle— Best bullocks, £1 15s to £8 5s ; others, £6 15s to .£7 ss ; inferior bullocks, £5 to £6, equal to 18s per lOOlbs; veal calves, 2<ta to 27s each. Sheep— Light wethers, 8s to 8s 3d ; ewes 6s to 7s 4d ; lambs, 5s 6d to 5s lOd. Pigs —Small baconers, 25s to 32s ; porkers, 20s to 225 ; small sorts, lls 6d to 16s 6d ; young pigs, 6s 9d to Bs.
