The Londonderry Gold Mine.
(Pec Press Association). Perth, April 10. The Londonderry mine has been thrown open for inspection to representatives of the Press. It contains good battery stone on one point. There is three feet of stone on the hanging wall and it carries about five ounces of gold with occasional extremely rich specimens. London, April 8. The Financial Times, commenting on mining matters in Australia says it is surprising British investors neglect to i saddle formations in the Beudigo district, Victoria. Lord Fingall has wired to his attorney Hob. Mr Plunkett, that there was no suspicion that the Londonderry mine was a swindle, and that terms advantageous to shareholders had already been made regarding seven-tenths of the vendor's profits, and he hoped that the Australian holders retaining tfaree-tcnths would act similarly. The profits on tho sale of the mine would, he thought, be £350,000. _____ mmmmmm
