«, (Per Press Association). London, April 8. Lord Cromer expects that the fall in the price of produce has cost Egypt £3,000,000 per annum for the last twelve years and checked the wave of prosperity that set in with the British occupation. The surplus for 1895 is estimated at i' 680,000.
