Stock Market.
Messra Abraham and Williams report : We had a full yarding of sheep. The class was of the usual varied order, nothing calling for any special mention. Cattle were in moderate supply, and mostly grown cattle. The quotations show the prices obtained as being a fair test, seeing the stock was without reserve. Dry cows made L 2 10s (id : cows and calves, L 2 19s 6d ; weanera, 24a ; fat cows L 3 18s 6d ; yearling steers, 31s ; store cows, L 2 7s : cows and calves, poor conditioned, L 2 Bs. Sheep -Store wethers, 6s to 6s 6d ; shorn lambs, 2s 5d to 2s lOd ; 2-tooth ewes. 6s to 6s 6d ; others, 2s 6d, 3a 3d, 4a 3d, 6s 3d ; culls, Is 3d to Is 6d.
