6192 OUNCES FOR A MONTH'S WORK. (Per Press Association) ■ Auckland, This Day. Coromnnclel telegrams state the Hauraki Mine Manager made a final lodgment of jjold, the whole producing a grand total of 1296 ounces of gold as a result of the month's operations, the largest return ever obtained in the time. The mine still looks wonderfully well and is likely to last a long time. The gold still shows freely in all parts of the workings. The first crushing of the Woodstock Karangahake banked 2010 ozs of bullion obtained from 360 tons of ore, probably value £1500 (?).
