At the wopl sales there was a good -' catalogue, and Continental buyers were , prominent., The series closed firm, best crossbreds from par to 5 per cent advance compared with the February sales ; men dium and, inferior-merinos, 7_- to 10 per' cent higher; faulty, scoured pieces of looks neglected, and prioes for them are flat. During the present wool series the American buyers took 20,000 bales.
