A New Industry.
♦ (Per Press Association.) Perth, March 30. An Italian business man has proposed to the Government to set aside a suitable * area of land to establish fifty peasant Italian families who shall undertake the growing of the castor oil plant for the production of oil, sericiculture and viticulture. He asks the Government to grant free or assisted passages from Naples, to admit the seeds and the machinery free, and to grant amoderate amount of protection to the industries indicated.
