Burglary at Auckland.

(Per Press Association). Auckland, March 27. It appears the collection of coins stolen from the Museum is not the Barstow collection, but a collection gained! by the Museum through gift and purchase, and the monetary value of the collection is estimated at L 125. To-night, George Learatt was arrested on a charge of being concerned in the robbery at the Museum. He attempted to change one of the old coins — a half-crown of the period of George ll.— in a hotel. The barmaid noticed the coin, and telephoned for the police. The accused is well known to the pcflj.ee fts an old offender.
