A Fortunate Escape.

o — (Per Press Association). AcrcKLAKD, March 22. Today two boys named Jones and Gard were out sailing*on the Maaakau in a Rob fioy canoe. The wind being very strong capsized the canoe and the boys drifted down the harbour with the ebb tide. Fortunately assistance was ren dered by John Grajnor and Edward Nixon, working on the wharf, w ho pulled down the harbour after them, otherwise they would have been drowned.
