| Per Press Aesociation. j London, March '22. Mr William Henry Willis, Liberal, has been elected to represent Bristol East in the House of Commons, vice Sir Joseph D. Webstor, deceased. He was returned by a majority of 132 over the Independent candidate. In the Houso of Commons Sir E. Grey said the Government declined to interfere in Mataafa's case as there was every reason to believe the rebel chief was being well treated. The Australian Customs Bill was passed through committee in the Lords.
