Easter Temperance Demonstration.
A committee meeting of tlic above was held in the Temperance Hall la-t evening. Mi* J. Greenwood in the chair. The Secretary reported having had favourable replies irom several pentlemen who had been asked to attend. i The question of postponing the 1 Demonstration on account of the encampment, being 1 held in Feildiug at Kaster was discussd, and it was unanimously resolved the day be not changed, but that it be held on Easter Monday as resolved at last meeting*. Hesolved, That deputations bo sent to the various temperance bodies in the district, to solicit their nttendauce ana co-operation. Resolved, That tenders be called for the privileges consisting ot luncheon booth, refreshment booth and lawful games. Resolved, 1 hat the advertisement calling 1 for tenders be inserted in the Fkildino jStak, Advocate and Standard. 'Jhat conditions be left with and tenders addressed to W. G, Shearer, to close at •"> p m, on Saturday, the ;JOth instant.
