The War Between China and Japan.
(Per Press Association). Shanghai, March 17. Li Hung Chang has sailed for Japan to conduct the peace negotiations with the Emperor. He has been instructed to urge tbe declaration of an armistice, and to offer liberal terms if the integrity of Continental China is respected.
