The New Zealand Rifle Meeting.

Shooting at Trentham at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rifle Association commences at 10 o'clock to-mor-row morning, the meeting closing on the following Wednesday. It is understood there is to be no formal opening ceremony. The entries are coming in freely, and it is expected that they will reach about 220. A large contingent from the J\ T Gi"th arrived on Jast night's Manawatu train. Shooting begins with the 120vds range of the ISfelson match. Markers are to parade to-morrow morning at ( J o'clock.
