The Cheap Money Scheme.
X-60,000 ADVANCED. (PEE PKESS ASSOCIATION). Wellington, This Day. The Lending Board, under the Advances to Settlers Act, sat all clay yesterday and passed about 150 applications for loans. The loans granted include L 13.000 for Auckland district, LB.OOO for Taranaki, L 27.000 for Wellington, L 12,000 for Otago. The Board will ait on alternate days next week to deal with the more pressing applications.
