(Per Press Association). Wellington, March f>. A deputation from Grey town North, headed by the Mayor, waited on the Minister of Justice urging that the half-holiday be changed from Saturday to Thursday. The Hon. Mr Reeves said, while sj'inpathising with the request, the Wairarapa Magistrate in the test case had decided that the Gazette notice was conclusive evidence that Saturday was the legal day, and this being so, lie was bound to respect that decision.
