FEILDING and MAKING RAINFALL.
TO THE EDITOR OK THE STAR. Sir,— "When Mr Fry and myself have compared notes on this subject we have found, as a rule, that the rainfall at Makino is greater than it is at Feilding, and, as I see by this evening's Star that Mr Fry has supplied you with Makino i-ainfall statistics for the months of February, 1569 to 181*5, I think it will be interesting to contrast the same with similar statistics for Feilding, as per following table : — Rainfall for February, and No. of rainy days.
The heavist rainfall which I have ever registered in Feilding during one month was 9-35 inches in February, 1883. I am, etc., SAML. GOODBEHERE. Feilding, March 2nd, 1895.
