Pohangina County Loan Proposals.
The Pohangina County Council propose to raise a loan of £4000 to construct work within Tamaki riding of the county •8 follows :— J81873 for construction of tbe Pohangina Valley road from southern boundary of Tamaki riding to Makawakawa, or Diggers Creek, 380 chains ; £949 for building bridges over creeks ; J?9o_ for construction and metalling the balance of Apiti road norn Pohangina Valley road at junction near Diggers Creek to boundary of section 53, block HI, Pohangina 220 chains : £274 to construct and metal road through forest reserve from Pohangina Valley road to Coal Creek, 60 chains. A meeting of rateS ay ers, to discuss the above proposals will c held at Cr H. Fraser's residence on Thursday, February 28, at 12 noon.
