The Wool Market.

ADVANCE IN PRICES. (Per Press Association.) London. Feb 24. Since the wool sales closed 2500 bales merino have been sold at par to £d advance. Merino tops have advanced 10 per cent, during the last three weeks. The River Plate clip of cross-breds has ! increased 80,000 bales.

Messrs Levin and Co. have received from their London agents, Messrs Dalgety and Co. (Limited), the following cablegram, dated 21st February : — There is a fair private enquiry for wool. Since our last telegram prices are Jd per lb higher for the bulk of wools. The total private sales since the close of tho last auctions amount to 2000 bales.
