The interest of shooting men is beginning to centre around the approachiug meeting of the New Zealand Rifle Association, to be held on March 14th at Trontham. The range is in a very much better condition thau when it was last used, two years ago, the drains which were then cut having made the place quite dry. Some of the mounds will require raising, and the rushes and long gvass will require cutting, while some small repairs will be required to the mound protecting the trench.
