Charity Begins at Rome.
(Per . Press Association.) Auckland, February 15. A meeting of ladies convened by Mr D. W. Feney, promoter, was held in order to djscuss the advisability, of taking organised action to assist in olotbmg the destitute children xn London. The promoter t»a« recently arrived from London to suggest the formation of a guild throughout the colony for this object. After discussion the meeting adjourned to enable the younger ladies of the community to enlist their sympathies.
