The Flock Book.

o — (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, Feb. 14. At a meeting of the Committee of the Canterbury A. and P Association to day, a letter was read from the Flock Book Council, declining to accede to tbe request of the Association that rule 6 providing for the coinpulsorv inspection of flocks should be reinforced. After discussion it was resolved unanimously, " That this Association refuses t-> countenance the publications of a Flock Book unless it is published in accordance with tbe conditions pan-ed at the Conference held in Wellington in 1894."
