Stock Markets.
The first stock sale in Pohangina township was held on Tuesday last by Messrs Abraham and Williams in their new yards here. These yards are very commodious, substantially built and well finished The entries were numerous, but the bidding was slow, although there were a large number of farmers present This has been the case everywhere at all recent sales- The prices obtained were satisfactory considering the low prices ruling generally. Many lots were passed in but changed hands after the sale. Messrs Gorton and Son held their stock stock sale at Balls yesterday.
