Anglican Synod.
(Per Press Association). Nelson, February 18. All the afternoon at the Synod was taken up with the second reading of Archdeacon Harper's Bill imposing safeguards against alteration in the fundamental constitution without due deliberatiou. It was shown that the safeguard was not needed, and the Bill was thrown out.
