It is estimated that the Argentine Republic will have a wheat surplus for export of five and a-half million bushels. The weather in Europe is causing a hardening in the market, and inducing more confidence in future. The following London market cablegram has been received by the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Company :—Tallow : There is a fair demand. Medium and inferior mutton tallow has advanced 6d and beef tallow 3d per cwt. since last report. Frozen Meats : The mutton market has a downward tendency, and Wellington mutton is worth 3]d"per lb.
