(Per Press Association.) Wellington. Feb. 8. At the Tariff Commission to-day evidGnce was givpn as tp %he mode pf ascertaining the value of goods invoiced, and duty payable. Suggestions were made as to the hardware industry aud for reduction of duty on certain articles. Evidence was also giver} tp certain manufacturing industries, and a request that chemicals used in them be ted free, or at lessened' duty. The Commission adjourned until Mo,nday :
