Severe Snow Storms.
(Per Peim- Association). London, Fobruary «. A violent snow blizzard swept over Scotland aDd the northern portion of •-ngland and Wales. Many trains are .snowbound and ice noes block the upper reaches of fcUe Thames. The present winter is said to be the most severe experienced since 1880. The French-American liner Caseoigue and the Cunadier Cepholana are overdue and some anxiety is felt for their .safety owing to the Majestic reporting terrible storms in crossing the Atlantic and of various signs of disasters.
