O ' (Per Press Association Wellington, January 31. Mr J. E. Blair, chairman of the Education Board, has consented to stand ag-nn for a seat on ihe Board. Among the passengers by the Kuapehu from Lonaon m the Rev. E. Bell, third Bon of Sir Francis Dillon Bell, and Vicar of All Saint's Church, Caniberwell. After a short stay in the colony the Rev Mr Sell j returns to his parish duties. Colonel Talbot Crosbie, of the Kinj s Eoyal 60th Rifles, atrived from Tasmania bytheEuapehu to take a tour of «i>e colony. During the voyage of the Kuapehu Mrs Bay, a passenger lor Wellington, died on the 25th inst, when the ship was nearing Hobart. The Queen's Drive, connecting Island Bay and Kilbirnie, is now complete.
