O I A. G. Tame and Co. report on the markets for the week ending February Ist. Horses— Really good sound draughts we quote from £20 to £25, medium, £14 to .£lB, good weli bred light harness horses and hacks, from £14 to £'18 anything suitable for express work still commands attention and are saleable from £10 to £'14. We have sold privately a nice harness mare at £18, another at £17. draughts at £'14 and D S. buggy in fair condition at £12. Fat Sheep — Market remains steady, prime wethers, 9s to 9s 6d. fat ewes, 6s to 7s 6d, fat lambs, 7s to Bs, store wethers, 2 and 4 tooth, > s to 7s Sd and 2-tooth mixed sexes, 5s to 6s 6d. Sheep market depressed Fat Cattle — We quote prime bullock beef, 178 per lOOlbs, store bullocks, £4 10s to £5 ss, 2 year olds, £3 to £3 10s, yearlings, 40s to 458, weaners, 23s to 28s. Pigs— Good demand, slips, 10s to 13s, smaller sorts, 8s to 9s, baconers, 40a to 425. Wool— We have sold several good lines inferior crossbred 6d to 6M per lb, bush stained, 5d to s£d, and beflies 4d lb.
