(Per Press Association.) Sydney, Jauuary 29. The weather was fine to day, but the wicket was spoiled by the rain which fell during the night, and there was no play till three p.m. The first innings of New South Wales concluded for 274. Gregory 69 Calloway 22. The Victorians began their second inDings and hai scored 16 without the loss of a wicket when the sumps were drawn. I rumble 11, C. McLeod 4, both not out. Christchurch, January 29. The adjourned mealing of the New Zealand Cricket Council was held to-night. Delegates representing the Auckland, Hawke's Bay, Tnranaki, Wellington, Canterbury, Otngo and Southland Cricket Associations were present. The following vice-presidents were appointed ; Wellington, Mr H. D. Bell ; Hawke's Bay, Mr G. E Salisbury ; Canterbury, Mr R. Wilding ; Otago, Mr J. Smith, jun, ; Southlund, Mr T. Cross.
