* ■ — WHEAT FOR EXPORT. THE CABLE INTERRUPTION. THE SEAMEN'S CONFERENCE. [PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION. ' Sydney, January 23. The Sydney Morning Herald considers there is a likelihood of the wheat export trade from Australia being limited this year in consequence of the scarcity of wheat of good shipping quality. The bulk of the cable messages between the time of stoppage and this morning has been sent South from Oodnatta by special train to the nearest station, whence they are beine; telegraphed to Adelaide. This is boing done before complete communication is restored. The Seamen's C nference has decided to bring the question of assimilation of the Austrnlian shipping laws before the conference of Premiers at Hobart.
