The Reconstructed Banks.
(Per Press Association). London., January 19. The Pall Mall Gazette says the Scotch Banks have not yet decided to guarantee the deposits of some of the reconstructed Australian Banks, but uegociafcions on the subject are proceeding. The Official Receiver has examined Messrs Meldrum, Cuthbertson, and Anderson, mainly to ascertain whether the Bank of South Australia has paid recent dividends out of capitai.
