Wellington Regatta.

CPEB PRESS ASSOCIATIONS Wellington, January 22. The principal fixture in town to-day was the Championship Yachting Regatta, which attracted more than ordinary interest, owing to the fact that Auckland, Napier, Wellington, and Lyttelton were represented by their crack boats. In the first-class event tbe Waitangi, recently built by Logan Bros., of Auckland, for a Wellington syndicate, out-distanced all other competitors and won easily from the Lyttelton crack, Mascotte. Maritana (Wellington) and Pastime (Lyttelton) also competed. The Waitangi takes the first prize of i>loo and the Commodore's Cup, going to the second boat.
