Fall from a Eailway Train.

A serious accident occurred to Miss Mary Pridbam, of New Plymouth, on the Manawatu line yesterday morning. Miss Pridham who was staying with Mr and Mrs J. H. Lowe, at Khandallah, was standing on the platform of a carriage of the morning through train with Mr E. Lowe, and when the train was going down the incline at the other side of Johnsonville she fell off. Mr Lowe jumped off as soon as the train slackened speed, and with the assistance of some ot the railway officials took Miss Pridbam to Khan dallah Mr J. Fulton, the Company's manager, on hearing of the accident went KhandaUah, taking with him Dr Collins, who found the lady suffering from concussipn of the brain. — N.Z. Times.
