Mail Contracts.

(PEB "PBEBS ASSOCIATION." Wellington, This Day. Mr Larke, the Canadian Commissioner, will accompany the Premier to Hobart to discuss trade affairs with the Premiers of the various colonies. Tne Postmaster-General says no discourtesy was shown to England over the renewal of mail contracts. The New South Wales Government replied in November tbat they could not go beyond tbe resolution passed at the New Zealand Postal Conference which recommended tho extension of the contract for one year, but, later on, if good reasons were shown a further extension for another year would be favorably considered.
