Pushing our trade abroad just now is of more consequenco than the creation of all sorts of new inspectorates, Gov ernment photographers, and land cornmissioDers. If we do not help ourselves to a share of the trade, we will not be helped to it ; that's a certainty. We had the first offer of the Vecht pork curing industiy, but allowed it to go by default to Victoria^
