. . (PEE PBEBM ASSOCIATION.) Auckland. January 14. News has been received that a young man named Samuel Lowe, about 28 years of age, a carpenter, whose people live at Arch Hill, was killed at Nukualofa, Tongo, by a native named Veni, during the New Year festivities. It is alleged that the native rushed at Lowe with a heavy stone, and struck him violently on the head, death resulting in about an hour.
