(PER PREB ASSOCIATION). London, January 12, A ton of Melbournejbgtter, packed in September according" to the Sewell patent, and shipped as ordinary cargo lias arrived here in lnaguincent condition. The process excites much interest, and it is considered, if it will always yield equal results, will revolutionise the trade' to the amount of £9 person, Had it arrived before' Christmas it would have sold for 112s per cwt. The portion of the butter cargoes packed in the cellar was of inferior cfcah'ty,*aud bad gone off.
