The Tariff Commission.

APPOINTMENT ON MONDAY NEXT The warrant of appointment in respect of the promised Royal Commission on the subject of the revision of the tariff wilL be completed on Monday next. The Commission is to consist of Major Steward and Messrs J. Duthie, W. W. Tanner, Wn>. Hutchison, J. Stevens, J. McGowan, and Thomas Mackenzie, M's.H.R., and two other members of the House of Representatives. Mr Larnach was offered a seat but declined, as be is confined to his house by the effects of his recent buggy accident.— N.Z. Times.
