Arrest of a " Coiner."
♦ (7KB PBESB ASSOCIATION). Sydney. This Day. The most complete coining plant ever discovered here has been unearthed at Waterloo. For some time past a large quantity of spurious coins, representing all values from a shilling to a sovereign, have been in circulation, and the counterfeit was of such excellent workmanship as to almost deceive an expert. A man named Birch, after a desperate struggle, was arrested on a charge of being concerned in the affair.
